Optometrist (Bilingual Chinese/English)- Los Angeles, CAType: Full-TimePay Range: $65-$80 per hour ScheduleMonday-Friday OR Tuesday-Saturday (rotating every 3 months)Hours: 8:30 AM- 5:30 PMCaseload: Approximately 14-18 patients per day ResponsibilitiesPerform comprehensive and problem-focused medical eye exams across all age groupsManage ocular conditions such as diabetic retinopathy, glaucoma, and dry eyeProvide care for urgent/walk-in eye-related issuesCollaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teamsManage referrals to ophthalmology and other subspecialtiesOrder and interpret diagnostic tests (OCT, visual fields, corneal topography)Educate patients on preventive and healthy eye care practices QualificationsDoctor of Optometry (OD) degreeActive state Optometry License with Glaucoma CertificationDEA licenseBilingual proficiency in Chinese and English (required) Preferred QualificationsMinimum 2 years of medical optometry xijylhu experiencePediatric experienceExperience in dry eye management BenefitsPaid time off (vacation, personal, sick, holidays, jury duty, bereavement, continuing education)Medical, dental, and vision insuranceRetirement plan with employer matchReimbursements for malpractice, DEA, state license, and continuing education
