We are a private membership club open to members and their guests only.The RoleThe Studio Runner is the lifeblood of our daily operations and the primary custodian of the studio experience. This role requires a seamless blend of anticipatory hospitality, technical awareness, and operational precision. You are not just supporting a session; you are fiercely protecting the privacy of our clients, the integrity of our equipment, and the unique atmosphere of the space.Core ResponsibilitiesHospitality & Artist Support: Proactively manage the studio environment to ensure every client need is met before it is requested. This includes managing food and beverage service, coordinating with external vendors, and maintaining the aesthetic standards of the artist lounges and common areas.Session Preparation: Assist engineering staff with technical setups. This includes stage-plotting, running cables with surgical precision, placing microphones, and ensuring the console and outboard gear are prepped for the session start.Facility Readiness: Conduct regular sweeps to keep the facility immaculate. You are responsible for the care of delicate equipment and performing a meticulous "normal" of the room at the end of every shift to ensure a perfect start for the next team.Access & Discretion: Manage the arrival and movement of artists and their guests. You serve as the frontline of our privacy protocols, ensuring a secure and undisturbed environment at all times.Logistics & Errands: Execute essential local runs and logistics with speed and reliability. You will maintain clear, real-time communication with management regarding ETAs and the handling of studio resources.What We Are Looking ForAbsolute Discretion: You understand that privacy is our cornerstone. You are strictly bound by our zero-tolerance policy regarding any form of unauthorized documentation or social media activity.The Service Mindset: You excel at "invisible service"-the ability to read a room, maintain professional distance, and remain instantly available without being intrusive.Technical Foundations: A basic understanding of signal flow and studio etiquette. You should be familiar with handling high-end audio equipment and executing clean cable management.Reliability & Discipline: You are punctual and respect the protocols of the floor. You understand that in a high-stakes studio environment, there is no detail too small to ignore.RequirementsExperience & Availability 1-2+ years of experience in a high-touch hospitality, studio, or luxury service environmentPrevious exposure to recording studios, live production, or creative spaces strongly preferredFlexible availability, including evenings, weekends, and late-night sessions based on studio needs Technical Foundations Basic understanding of audio signal flow and studio etiquetteFamiliarity with microphone types, placement, and handling of professional audio equipmentAbility to execute clean, organized cable management and assist with technical setupsComfortable working around large-format consoles, outboard gear, and studio infrastructureAbility to take direction from engineering staff with precision and efficiency Hospitality & Service Mindset Demonstrated ability to deliver elevated, anticipatory service in a fast-paced environmentStrong attention to detail in maintaining cleanliness, organization, and overall aesthetic of the spaceExperience coordinating food & beverage service and working with external vendorsAbility to read the room, adapt to client needs, and provide "invisible service" without disruption Operational Excellence Exceptional reliability, punctuality, and respect for established protocolsStrong communication skills with the ability to provide clear, real-time updatesHigh level of organization with a meticulous approach to resetting and maintaining studio spacesAbility to multitask and execute logistics with speed and accuracy Discretion & Professionalism Absolute commitment to confidentiality and privacy at all timesStrict adherence to a zero-tolerance policy regarding unauthorized documentation or social media activityProfessional presence with the ability to navigate high-profile environments with composure and integrity Physical & Practical Requirements Ability to lift and move equipment (up to 50 lbs) and remain on your feet for extended periodsValid driver's license and clean driving record for local errands and studio-related logistics Preferred Qualifications Working knowledge of DAWs such as Pro Tools, Logic, or AbletonBackground in music production, audio engineering, or live soundFamiliarity with high-end studio environments and creative clienteleBenefitsWhy Join100% Healthcare Coverage - choose from United Healthcare PPO and HMO plans or Kaiser for medical.
