Benefits: First-Year Completion Bonus Sign-on Bonus Role Overview: The Armed Security Officer is responsible for ensuring the security and safety of the installation and its occupants. This role involves access control, roving patrols, surveillance, and monitoring to maintain a secure environment at this United States Army installation, which features amenities such as a gym, PX, Burger King, and MWR. Key Requirements: Must be a U.S. Citizen If applicable, provide DD214 from military service within the last 10 years Eligibility for a U.S. Secret Security Clearance (new clearances can be sponsored) Minimum of two (2) years’ experience in armed security, law enforcement, or equivalent military experience within the last 10 years Completion of a state-recognized civilian security or law enforcement academy, or military security training, with verification required Current/active U.S. Passport Willingness to undergo an NCIC/FBI criminal background check; candidates must have a clean history Knowledge of security operations and force protection Outstanding written and oral communication skills Medical fitness; successful completion of medical testing required Physical Ability Test: run 1.5 miles in 17:30 minutes and complete 21 pushups in two minutes Commitment to random drug testing Regular working hours are 48 hours per week, with the possibility of altered schedules and additional hours as needed Physical ability to perform guard duties in varying weather and terrain conditions, meeting all U.S. Government physical and medical requirements Apply today to begin an exciting career in security at Camp Bondsteel, Kosovo.
