Our client is a rapidly growing, multi-site manufacturing and distribution platform operating across Florida, and is seeking an experienced Warehouse professional from complex food and beverage manufacturing environments. This is a high-impact leadership role overseeing warehouse operations across multiple facilities. The mandate is not simply to manage existing processes "” but to design, implement, and standardize new operating procedures that will support the company's next phase of growth.Position OverviewThe Director of Warehouse Operations will lead end-to-end warehouse operations across several locations, ensuring seamless inventory flow, productivity optimization, and service-level excellence.This role is ideal for a hands-on operational leader who thrives in fast-paced environments and has experience building structure where it does not yet fully exist. You will be expected to evaluate current workflows, redesign processes where necessary, and implement standardized SOPs across all sites.Key ResponsibilitiesProcess Design & StandardizationEvaluate existing warehouse workflows and identify gaps, inefficiencies, and risk areasDesign and implement new SOPs across receiving, storage, picking, packing, repacking, and shippingStandardize processes so team members can seamlessly operate across multiple facilitiesEstablish productivity benchmarks and accountability frameworksDrive continuous improvement initiatives rooted in Lean principlesStrategic Capacity PlanningForecast and optimize warehouse utilization across multiple sitesDevelop slotting strategies to minimize touches and maximize storage efficiencyAlign space planning with production and customer demand forecastsLabor OptimizationLead and develop a team of approximately 30 warehouse professionalsFlex labor between facilities based on volume fluctuationsImplement productivity standards and monitor earned vs. actual hoursRepacking & Value-Add OperationsOversee high-volume repacking and kitting linesManage throughput, cost control, and P&L accountabilityImplement process controls to ensure margin protection and operational consistency3PL & Client PerformanceServe as operational liaison for 3PL partnershipsEnsure inventory accuracy and SLA performance across sitesCoordinate closely with production, procurement, and customer service teamsQualificationsBachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business, or related field (preferred)10+ years of warehouse or distribution center experience (multi-site preferred)5+ years of leadership experience within complex supply chainsDemonstrated experience designing and implementing new operational processesProficiency in WMS and ERP systems (SAP experience a plus)Strong understanding of OSHA and regulatory compliance standards
