Role: HVAC Project Manager Location: Manhattan, NY Salary: $130,000 $150,000 + Benefits We are partnering with a respected and long-standing mechanical contractor serving the New York City market. With a reputation for delivering high-quality HVAC solutions, this firm supports a diverse portfolio of commercial projects including service, maintenance, renovations, and select ground-up construction. Their consistent repeat and negotiated work reflects strong, long-term relationships across all five boroughs. Due to continued expansion and a robust project pipeline, they are looking to add an experienced HVAC Project Manager to their team. This individual will lead multiple projects from pre-construction through closeout, driving operational excellence, client satisfaction, and financial performance. Key Responsibilities: Oversee HVAC and mechanical projects from contract award through final completion. Coordinate closely with owners, general contractors, engineers, and internal field teams. Develop, manage, and update project schedules, budgets, and cost projections. Supervise subcontractors, material procurement, and equipment logistics. Review construction documents including drawings, specifications, RFIs, and change orders. Perform site visits to ensure progress, quality standards, and safety compliance. Lead project meetings and provide regular reporting to senior leadership. Ensure projects are delivered on schedule, within budget, and in accordance with contractual requirements. Requirements: 5+ years of Project Management experience within HVAC or mechanical construction Strong understanding of commercial HVAC systems, including ductwork, piping, controls, and equipment Experience managing projects in New York City; knowledge of local codes and site logistics preferred Proven ability to manage multiple concurrent projects Excellent communication, organizational, and leadership skills Proficiency with project management and scheduling platforms such as Procore, MS Project, Primavera, or similar Compensation & Benefits: Competitive base salary of $125,000-$150,000 (DOE) Performance-based bonus structure Health benefits package PTO + holidays Long-term growth opportunities within a stable contractor Exposure to high-profile NYC commercial projects APPLY today for immediate consideration!
