A health services network in New Jersey is seeking a licensed Nurse Practitioner (NP) and/or Physician Assistant (PA) to join their Neonatology team. About the Opportunity:Shift: Day or NightSchedule: 2-3 shifts per weekHours: 12 to 24-hour shiftsSetting: Neonatal careResponsibilities:Providing direct patient care to neonatal patients (average census: 10-15 patients)Conducting daily rounds and collaborating with multidisciplinary care teamsSupporting attending physicians and fellow providersCommunicating effectively with patients' families regarding care plans and progressPerforming procedures such as arterial puncture, endotracheal intubation, and umbilical line placementPerforming other duties, as neededQualifications:3+ years of experience in NeonatologyAdvanced Practice Provider degree (NP or PA)Active NJS Nurse Practitioner (NP) and/or Physician Assistant (PA) licenseProficiency in Arterial Puncture, Endotracheal Intubation, and Umbilical Line PlacementCompetency in EPIC EMR systemStrong patient care skillsExcellent communication skillsAbility to work as part of a teamAdaptability in a fast-paced environmentDesired Qualifications:Advanced Degree in NeonatologyRelevant certifications in Neonatology
