Senior Field Service TechnicianLocation: London, Ontario, CACompensation: $35-$40/hour + overtimeAbout the Role:A growing power generation service organization is seeking a Senior Field Service Technicianto support customers across Southern Ontario. This is a field-based role ideal for an experienced technician who enjoys working with their hands, troubleshooting complex equipment, and traveling directly to customer sites.This opportunity is a strong fit for candidates with experience as a Generator Technician, Diesel Technician, Heavy Equipment Mechanic, Truck and Coach Technician, Automotive Service Technician, Industrial Mechanic, or Field Service Technician.Key ResponsibilitiesTroubleshoot, diagnose, and repair mechanical and electrical issueson power generation and related equipmentService large engine systemsand associated componentsPerform DC and AC electrical troubleshootingComplete field service work at customer sites throughout Southern OntarioCommunicate professionally with customers and provide strong service supportMaintain accurate service documentation and reportsParticipate in an eventual on-call rotationRequirements5+ years of hands-on technician experienceStrong experience with big engines / large engine systemsStrong background in electrical troubleshootingExperience with DC and AC systemsMust own personal toolsValid driver’s license with a clean driving recordWillingness to travel daily and stay overnight as neededMust want a long-term, hands-on career in the tradesSchedule and Travel Field-based role with travel to customer sites across Southern OntarioTechnicians go directly from home to the job siteSome overnight travel required, typically up to 3 nights per monthLimited weekend work, with participation in an on-call rotation after trainingCompensation and BenefitsPaid travel timeCompany vehicleCompany phone$500 annual tool allowanceComprehensive benefits package
