Medical Technologist - Hematology (Night Shift) Employment Type: Full-Time Work Setting: On-Site Location: Linden, NJKey ResponsibilitiesPerform routine and complex hematology testing on clinical patient specimensConduct CBCs, differentials, and hematology-related assaysSupport coagulation testing as requiredOperate, calibrate, maintain, and troubleshoot hematology analyzersValidate and release accurate test results through the Laboratory Information System (LIS)Investigate abnormal results and perform corrective actions when neededMaintain quality control (QC) and quality assurance (QA) documentationEnsure compliance with CLIA, CAP, OSHA, and laboratory regulatory standardsCollaborate with the night shift team to meet turnaround time expectationsMaintain a clean, safe, and organized laboratory work environment Required QualificationsBachelor's degree in Medical Laboratory Science, Clinical Laboratory Science, or related fieldMinimum 2+ years of experience in clinical hematology testingStrong knowledge of hematology workflows, instrumentation, and QC practicesExperience working in a hospital or high-volume reference laboratory settingASCP certification preferred (not mandatory)Ability to work independently and reliably during overnight shifts Shift Schedule (Night Shift) - Tuesday to Saturday from 11 pm to 7:30 am Compensation & BenefitsSalary Range: $65,000 - $70,000 annually (competitive based on experience)Health Insurance (Medical, Dental, Vision) - National Plan (eligible after 3 months)PTO: 2 personal days + up to 5 sick days + 7 vacation days401(k) available (no employer match)
