Histotechnologist / Histotechnician (DAY SHIFT)

NEW Histology Technician Opportunity Full-Time Direct HireLindale, GA Area A respected regional healthcare organization in Northwest Georgia is seeking a Histology Technician to join its clinical laboratory team. This role is responsible for preparing high-quality histologic slides and tissue specimens for microscopic examination by pathologists while maintaining strict quality and regulatory standards. Shift is Monday - Friday - 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM. Key Responsibilities: Prepare histologic slides from tissue sections for pathologic examination Perform frozen sections, paraffin embedding, cytology preparations, and routine/special stains Evaluate surgical and cytology specimens for adequacy and proper identification Maintain accurate documentation and perform quality control on staining procedures Conduct routine instrument maintenance and ensure proper lab function Follow all applicable regulatory and accreditation standards Collaborate with laboratory staff, physicians, and clinical teams to support patient care Requirements: High School Diploma or equivalent (Associate s Degree in Biology or related field preferred) ASCP Histology Technician certification (HT) or eligibility required Minimum 1 year of histopathology experience with an Associate s degree OR 2 years with a High School diploma Strong attention to detail, manual dexterity, and computer skills Interested!?
