Counselors supervise campers, lead activities, and help create a safe, fun, and inclusive environment.Duties & ResponsibilitiesSupervise campers and ensure safety at all timesLead group games, sports, arts & crafts, and outdoor activitiesPromote positive behavior and teamworkFollow camp rules and safety proceduresAssist with daily setup, cleanup, and attendanceCommunicate with supervisors and fellow staffQualificationsMust be at least 16 years oldMust be at least 17 years old with a valid NJ driver's license for Odyssey Camp CounselorsMust be at least 19 years old for Therapeutic Recreation Camp CounselorsExperience working with children preferredAbility to work outdoors in various weather conditionsReliable, enthusiastic, and team-orientedMust have the ability to work as part of a team with minimal supervisionMust have interest in and/or knowledge of some activities offeredRequirementsCPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain)Background check requiredAttend required pre-camp trainingScheduleSeasonal summer positionHours vary by location and programThis position is not eligible for benefits.
