Reporting to the CEO, this role is accountable for developing, formalizing, and executing a unified growth vision that aligns with Rea's strategic direction.The CGO serves as the firm's primary steward of growth, overseeing sales strategy, business development processes, growth council effectiveness, pipeline visibility, CRM discipline, and long-term growth enablement. This role partners closely with executive leadership, industry and practice leaders, marketing, finance, people, and technology teams to ensure growth is intentional, measurable, scalable, and aligned with a one‑firm approach.ResponsibilitiesServe as the firm's enterprise leader and advocate for intentional, sustainable growthDevelop and formalize a firmwide growth strategy aligned with the firm's strategic plan and long‑term firm objectivesPartner with the CEO and executive leadership to define growth priorities, target markets, and growth timelinesProvide strategic leadership and accountability for industry Growth Councils, including goal‑setting, metrics, and performance measurementFormalize and standardize sales and business development processes across the firm to ensure consistency, scalability, and clarityEstablish and maintain visibility into the firm's growth pipeline, prospect opportunities, and growth forecastsLead the firm's sales strategy across all services, industries, and marketsDrive accountability for effective CRM usage, data integrity, and reporting to support growth strategy and decision‑makingCollaborate closely with Marketing to align go‑to‑market strategies, messaging, campaigns, and growth initiativesPartner with the People Team to ensure the right people are in the right seats to support growth strategies, including sales capability development and incentive alignmentCollaborate with Finance to evaluate growth investments, measure return on investment, and ensure growth strategies are financially viableProvide leadership for sales training and development strategy, including transitioning growth development efforts in‑house where appropriateIdentify opportunities to enhance organic growth through cross‑selling, client expansion, and new service developmentProvide strategic input and leadership support for mergers and acquisitions, including growth strategy alignment and integration planningCommunicate growth strategy, priorities, and progress with transparency across the firmDevelop and maintain key growth metrics and dashboards to evaluate effectiveness and inform leadership decisionsBuild strong internal relationships through frequent interaction with practice, industry, and office leadersDevelop, maintain, and ensure adherence to the growth budgetRequirementsRequires at least a bachelor's degree in business, marketing, finance, or a related field. An advanced degree is preferredMinimum of ten (10) years of experience in growth leadership, sales leadership, business development, or go‑to‑market strategyFive (5) or more years of progressive leadership experienceProfessional services experience strongly preferred; CPA credential not requiredDemonstrated experience leading growth initiatives across multiple services, industries, or marketsRelevant professional certifications preferred but not requiredRegular travel within the state of Ohio of approximately 50% of the time to Rea offices, client meetings, company events, and industry conferences. Infrequent domestic travel may be required.
