Job Type Full-timeDescriptionSummaryThe Radiologic Technologist performs radiology diagnostic tests safely and effectively as ordered by the physician.ResponsibilitiesPerforms radiology procedures in a manner to comply with state and federal regulationsAssists in maintaining appropriate equipment and supplies in the departmentMaintains documentation of patient testing informationCompletes other comparable duties and assignments as directed by the Radiology ManagerAssists in maintaining a clean and safe work environmentRequirementsJob RequirementsAssociate's degree in radiologic technology from an accredited school or two (2) years of experience in a directly related areaValid state Radiologic Technologist licenseRegistered Radiologic Technologist (RT) with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT)CPR/AED for the Professional Rescuer certificationEffective written and verbal communication.Knowledgeable in computer systems (e.g. PACS), MS Word, Excel and others.Able to lift and assist patients as needed for proper positioning.Base salary offers for this position may vary based on factors such as location, skills and relevant experience.
