Seeking an experienced Interventional Radiology Technologist to support a Level 1 Trauma academic medical center with a comprehensive stroke program. This contract role is based in Lexington, NC, offering an opportunity to work with cutting-edge imaging technology and a highly skilled multidisciplinary team. Responsibilities: Scrub and assist during interventional radiology procedures, supporting neuro and body interventions including stroke, cancer, embolizations, thrombectomy, biopsies, and vascular access. Circulate in assigned procedure rooms by operating equipment and supplying necessary materials. Collaborate with nurses, radiologists, neuro surgeons, and APPs to deliver patient-centered care across 8 dedicated IR rooms. Participate in room turnover, transport, and inventory management with tech extenders. Adhere to departmental protocols, including call schedules and holiday coverage expectations. Qualifications: Minimum 2 years' IR technologist experience with focus on Body and Neuro imaging at a Level 1 Trauma Center. Current BLS certification; ARRT-R or RCIS certification required. Ability to scrub and circulate in complex interventional procedures. Comfortable working alongside new graduates and supporting preceptorship as needed. Schedule: Shifts primarily 12-hour or 10-hour daytime blocks, with some 8-hour options. Call required 3-4 days monthly, including weekend and holiday rotation. Technology & Systems: Experience with Siemens, GE, and Philips imaging systems preferred. EMR knowledge: EPIC Encompass beneficial. Benefits & Perks: Free employee parking provided.
