Health benefits available for our team members Your Role as a Dental Hygienist: In this rewarding position, you will conduct initial patient evaluations, provide thorough teeth cleaning to remove plaque, and offer essential guidance on maintaining oral health and preventative care. Collaborate with dentists to identify and implement suitable treatment plans for various dental conditions. As a valued Dental Hygienist, you will: Ensure patient comfort and relaxation during examinations Meticulously sterilize dental instruments Perform mouth screenings and assess patients' oral health histories Identify dental issues such as gingivitis, caries, or periodontitis Execute teeth cleaning and protective procedures, including plaque removal and fluoride application Educate patients of all ages on effective dental care practices Provide clear post-procedure instructions to patients Accurately take X-rays and dental impressions Assist dentists in determining appropriate treatments for conditions including oral cancer Maintain precise documentation and patient records Manage and monitor dental supplies efficiently Qualifications: Proven experience as a Dental Hygienist or in a similar position Valid Dental Hygiene license is required Strong grasp of health and safety regulations (e.g., HIPAA) Experience in preparing and maintaining dental equipment Exceptional communication skills Friendly demeanor with a patient-focused approach High attention to detail Physical stamina to meet the demands of the role Diploma in Dental Hygiene is highly preferred Job Types: Part-time, Full-time Pay: $55.00 - $65.00 per hour
