If you are an individual who is great with people and who takes pride in building an effective work team, then a position at Hermes Landscaping may be the next best step in your career!Key ResponsibilitiesManage the full recruitment lifecycle across a variety of roles within the organizationPartner with hiring managers to define staffing needs and develop clear, effective job descriptionsSource, screen, and interview candidates using multiple platforms, with a strong emphasis on LinkedInBuild and maintain a proactive talent pipeline for current and future hiring needsEnsure a positive and consistent candidate experience throughout the hiring processUtilize LinkedIn Recruiter Corporate and other sourcing tools to identify and attract top talentAdditional ResponsibilitiesGuide candidates through all stages of the hiring process, including intake, sourcing, interviewing, offers, and onboardingEnsure roles are filled in a timely and efficient manner while maintaining the quality of hireAdvise hiring managers on market conditions and talent availability to support effective hiring decisionsCollaborate closely with department leaders and key stakeholders across the organizationIdentify current and future staffing needs and develop targeted recruitment strategiesProactively source both active and passive candidates to build strong talent pipelinesMaintain and update the applicant tracking system with accurate and timely informationIdentify and execute the most effective channels for job advertising and candidate outreachCoordinate and participate in recruitment events such as job fairs, campus recruiting, and networking eventsWe ask that you have these qualifications:3-6 years of recruiting experience (required) and a mix of corporate and agency experience (preferred)Proven track record of identifying top candidatesAbility to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environmentWorking technical knowledge of applicant tracking systemsAdaptive communication style, effectively interacting with executive and entry-level candidates and everyone in betweenDemonstrated problem-solving, decision-making, organizational, and task-scheduling abilitiesKnowledge of legislation and regulations surrounding recruitment and selection practicesSocial recruiting experience (Indeed, LinkedIn, Glassdoor, etc.)Familiarity with HR best practicesSolid experience with the Microsoft Office SuiteDirect experience in high-volume recruiting for a wide range of positions (preferred)Bilingual, Spanish-speaking (preferred)Prior experience or a foundational knowledge of talent acquisition (preferred)Bachelor's degree (preferred)Why Join Hermes Landscaping?A trusted, family-owned company serving the Kansas City area for over 60 yearsA collaborative, supportive culture that values accuracy, communication, and growthMeaningful work contributing to award-winning projects that shape our communitiesThis is an opportunity to join a growing company where your expertise makes an impact.
