Packer Join our team as a Packer where you will play a critical role in preparing aluminum extrusions for shipment. Your day will involve loading materials onto conveyors, performing quality checks, and assembling bundles per customer specifications. You will ensure that all packages are labeled accurately and maintain a tidy work area. Responsibilities Load aluminum extrusions onto conveyor for processing. Gather materials for framing bundles such as tape, paper, and banding. Perform visual inspections to identify burrs, scratches, dents, and defects. Assemble bundles based on customer specifications and packing sheets. Label packages and prepare them for shipment. Maintain a clean work area and perform housekeeping tasks. Complete all tasks in a safe and efficient manner. Essential Skills Ability to read a tape measure. Previous production or manufacturing experience preferred. Must be able to work on feet for the duration of the shift. Ability to lift 50+ lbs. High School diploma or GED required. Must be able to work effectively with others in a team setting. Attention to detail. Additional Skills & Qualifications Experience in packing, forklift operation, production, and general labor is beneficial. Why Work Here? Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $16.00 - $16.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
