POSITION SUMMARY: The Customer Service Consultant excels in delivering an exceptional customer experience by anticipating needs and providing tailored solutions. This knowledgeable team member takes responsibility for managing all aspects of the Store's services, including printing, signs & graphics, and shipping. Key responsibilities include handling orders, coordinating store activities, offering pricing and product information, and recommending the best FedEx Office products and services. GENERAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: People Follows supervisor instructions and collaborates with team members. Participates in training new store personnel. Service Employs consultative skills to understand and address individual customer needs. Provides expert guidance in printing, signs & graphics, and shipping services. Ensures a superior customer service experience by proactively suggesting alternatives. Resolves customer issues quickly to enhance satisfaction. Takes and processes complex customer orders accurately. Prepares items for shipping, including wrapping and labeling. Operates printing and binding equipment, handling customer-supplied media and documents. Maintains a clean and organized retail environment. Profit Ensures the privacy of customer data and the careful handling of documents. Handles transactions using a POS system, including cash management. Maintains and repairs equipment and supplies for optimal store performance. Utilizes merchandising materials effectively, ensuring products are properly displayed. Proactively minimizes errors and waste. Completes financial paperwork and assists with reporting as needed. Adheres to FedEx Office SOPs and maintains compliance with safety and security protocols. Self-Management Juggles multiple tasks efficiently. Seeks opportunities to enhance knowledge and skills. Operates independently with minimal supervision. Follows all FedEx Office standards as outlined in the team member handbook. Performs additional duties as required. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS: High school diploma or equivalent. 6+ months of related experience. Strong verbal and written communication skills. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: Ability to stand for the entire shift, excluding breaks. Ability to lift and move up to 55 pounds. Ability to bend and twist consistently. Effective communication with customers and team members. Ability to work collaboratively and follow instructions. Thrives in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment. Maintains focus and attention for extended periods. Reliable attendance and adherence to established hours are required to support the business.
