This role demands initiative, flexibility, and responsibility, ensuring that patient care is prioritized based on physical and psychosocial needs. You'll communicate effectively with consulting providers about changes in patient status and diagnostic results, all while working with minimal supervision. Perform accurate and complete patient assessments, coordinating interdisciplinary screenings and assessmentsExplain specialty procedures to patients and families, utilizing specialty equipment and assisting physiciansEducate patients and families on treatment plans and follow-up instructionsPrepare and administer medications according to policy and nursing standardsMaintain knowledge of cardiac monitoring systems and protocols, identifying and treating dysrhythmiasEnsure thorough and timely medical record documentationOptimize patient safety and reduce healthcare errors through established protocolsCross-train across consulting areas for coverage optionsParticipate in performance improvement activitiesComply with safety procedures to ensure a safe environmentRequirements: Current IL RN LicenseBLS and ACLS certificationsNeed 2 years experience in settingPreferred: 2 years in Critical Care/Cardiac CareStrong computer skills with EMR navigationAbility to multitask, prioritize, and work independentlyExcellent communication and customer service skillsApply today and let Capstone Health help you reach your full potential!
