Job Description:Candidates should take the time to read all the elements of this job advert carefully Please make your application promptly.Job Opportunity: Physician- Gastroenterology in Lawrenceville, GA Join a thriving healthcare facility in Lawrenceville, Georgia, part of the North East Atlanta Gastroenterology group.This dynamic practice is on the lookout for two physicians to enhance their team.With a supportive environment and an emphasis on operational excellence, you'll be well-equipped to provide high-quality care to patients in need.Job Responsibilities: Fill two GI Hospitalist openings Provide coverage for all unassigned GI patients and United Digestive patients Deliver general GI services Work a 7on/7off schedule, for a total of 22 weeks per year Offer consultative inpatient services from 7:30 am to 5 pm Supervise two inpatient Advanced Practice Providers (APPs) covering 7 days a week Participate in night call coverage alongside current United Digestive physicians Assist in hospitalist coverage for the remaining 8 weeks, facilitated by existing physicians Open to new graduate candidates through 2025Qualifications: Board Eligible or Board Certified in Internal Medicine Board Eligible or Board Certified in Gastroenterology Georgia medical license (or willingness to obtain) Clean malpractice history (preferred) Recent NPDB Self Query Report (within 30 days, required at presentation) DEA license (must be obtained prior to start)License and Certification Requirements: Board Certified/Board Eligible in Internal Medicine Board Certified/Board Eligible in Gastroenterology Must possess or obtain a Georgia medical license DEA certification required before starting Lawrenceville is a vibrant city in Georgia, known for its rich history and family-friendly atmosphere.Enjoy a blend of suburban comfort and urban access, with plenty of recreational activities and a diverse community. xijylhu Experience the charm of Lawrenceville while advancing your career in a supportive healthcare environment!
