Survey Crew Chief 3.26.24 Job Roles and Responsibilities Lead and manage a survey crew for field operations.Perform surveying tasks including topographic, boundary, ALTA, right of way, as built, flood elevation, and lot surveys.Conduct construction layout and staking activities.Collect, calculate, and record accurate field data.Create plats, plot plans, and survey documentation.Maintain and care for survey equipment, instruments, and vehicles.Follow CAD standards and utilize CAD tools for survey-related tasks.Maintain project schedules and ensure timely completion of field work.Coordinate with clients and field representatives.Ensure quality and accuracy in all surveying operations. Qualifications and Certifications High school diploma or equivalent.5 to 10 years of experience in surveying and related field tasks.Experience with AutoCAD or Civil 3D preferred.Knowledge of survey calculations, legal descriptions, and field data recording.Experience with GPS and robotic survey equipment preferred.Ability to supervise field teams and work independently.Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.Ability to communicate effectively with clients and team members.
