**Job Description** **Clamp Truck Operator** **Pay Rate:** $25.09/hour **Sign-on Bonus:** $500 after 30 days, $500 after 6 months, Retention Bonus: $500 after 1 year Additional lump sum after 2 years Category/Shift: **Hourly Full-Time 2nd Shift (3pm - 11pm - Monday-Friday)** Physical Location: Laurens Container Facility 21313 Hwy 221 N Laurens, SC 29360 864-682-6813 **The Job You Will Perform:** + Performs service and safety check list on clamp truck before operating. + Reports on safety hazards and unsafe acts to department leadership. + Works in conjunction with the corrugator operator. + Reports to the department leader regarding the quality and quantity of work produced. + Operates the Roll Clamp Truck in a safe and efficient manner that will ensure quality workmanship and preservation of equipment/materials. + Transports rolls from storage to corrugator. + Returns unused rolls to correct storage area and stack them properly. + Assists the wet end crew with roll changes, hanging paper, threading splicers, and other tasks as needed. + Unloads rolls and supplies from truck/railcar and places them in proper storage area. + Verifies incoming roll stock with shipping manifest or other documentation. + Reports damaged roll stock to leadership. + Maintains good housekeeping standards. + Responsible for starch kitchen operation. + Other duties may be assigned. **The Skills You Will Bring:** To perform this job successfully, an individual must be a qualified PIT driver and be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. **About Us** **The Benefits You Will Enjoy:** International Paper offers a benefits package that includes health, welfare and retirement plans including Medical, Dental, Life insurance, Flexible Spending Accounts, Short-term and Long-term Disability, 401(k), Company-funded retirement contributions, Paid Time Off, Education & Development (including Tuition Reimbursement), Student Loan Repayment Assistance, and Voluntary Benefits including insurance for home, auto, vision and pets **The Career You Will Build:** Leadership training, promotional opportunities **The Impact You Will Make:** We continue to build a better future for people, the planet, and our company!
