Bachelor's degree from an accredited college in education required. A minimum of 30 semester hours of coursework in music is required. 2. Qualify, at time of hire, for State of Delaware certification as a Music Teacher (1563). 3. Ability to effectively plan/execute a balanced music program and organize class time so that preparation, rehearsal & instruction can be accomplished within the allotted time. 4. Believe strongly that all students can learn at high levels. 5. Teaches skills in music understanding/appreciation, harmony, explorations in music and choral music to elementary students. 6. Applicant must demonstrate a level of knowledge and/or experience appropriate to the position. 7. Actively contribute to a culture of high expectations in both the school & district. 8. Excellent interpersonal, organizational and communication skills. 9. Favorable criminal background and child protection registry check for the candidate offered employment required. 10.
