Lab Technician

Job#: 3028667 Job Description: Seeking a Lab Technician to join a company near Greensburg, PA. Role Overview An opportunity is available for a Quality Lab Technician in a manufacturing environment. This role involves performing a variety of quality assurance tests on the production floor. The position requires adaptability to different work environments and includes tasks such as pressure checks, Hawk UV analysis, running micro-samples, and assisting with audits and special projects. Key Responsibilities * Perform a variety of required analytical laboratory tests on in-process product samples and finished goods. * Conduct testing on product packaging materials and incoming products as needed. * Utilize testing protocols ranging from basic benchtop wet chemistries, such as pH, to more extensive instrumentation like GC and UV-Vis. * Perform government compliance testing on required products prior to their release. * Assist in product holds, audits, and other special projects as assigned. Required Qualifications Education: A four-year science degree in Biology, Chemistry, Environmental Science, Physics, or a related field is preferred. Experience: 0-1 years of industry experience is required. Preferred Qualifications * Analytical experience, which could include the use of GC and UV-Vis instrumentation.
