The Senior HR Generalist serves as both a strategic and operational partner to business leaders, delivering comprehensive human resources support across Aseptic, Maintenance, and Engineering functions within a high-volume, 24/7 manufacturing environment. This role drives key initiatives in employee relations, performance management, compliance, and talent development to align with business objectives and foster a high-performing, positive workplace culture.Partnering closely with leadership, the Senior HR Generalist proactively addresses workforce needs, mitigates organizational risk, and ensures consistent application of HR policies, employment laws, and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP). This role requires a hands-on approach to managing complex employee relations matters, supporting critical talent decisions, and leveraging data to guide business outcomes.Success in this position requires strong business acumen, sound judgment, and the ability to effectively support employees and leaders at all levels, while maintaining a high degree of integrity, confidentiality, and responsiveness in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.Key Responsibilities:Provide direct HR support to Aseptic, Maintenance, and Engineering business units in a high-volume environment. Maintain flexibility in work schedule to support a 24/7 plant operation, ensuring consistent HR coverage and availability to meet business and employee needs. Coach and advise leaders on performance management, corrective action, and organizational risk to ensure compliance with company policies and employment laws. Serve as the primary point of contact for employee relations, managing and resolving complex issues through thorough and objective investigations. Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations (e.g., FMLA, ADA, EEO, wage-and-hour). Manage leaves of absence from initiation through completion in compliance with applicable policies and regulations. Partner with business leaders to proactively address workforce needs through regular engagement and consultation. Lead and support performance management processes, including performance reviews, calibration, and performance improvement planning. Ensure consistent implementation and continuous improvement of HR policies, programs, and best practices; assist in policy development and updates as needed. Analyze trends and metrics to develop and implement HR solutions that support business objectives. Maintain the accuracy and integrity of HRIS data and employee records, and leverage systems for reporting and decision-making. Support recruitment and talent decisions, including hiring, promotions, transfers, onboarding, and offboarding processes. Contribute to organizational initiatives such as restructuring, succession planning, and employee development, including identifying training needs. Support employee engagement initiatives, including surveys and action planning to enhance the employee experience. Act as a liaison between employees and management, ensuring fair and professional representation. Promote a positive and inclusive workplace culture as a change agent in a dynamic environment. Participate in and lead special projects and initiatives to support evolving business objectives. Provide support across additional HR functions (e.g., training, payroll, benefits, recruitment) as needed. Experience supporting leaders in a fast-paced, high-volume or manufacturing environment. Demonstrated knowledge of federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations (e.g., FMLA, ADA, EEO, wage and hour). Experience conducting workplace investigations and managing complex employee relations issues. Proven ability to coach and influence leaders on performance management and organizational matters. Experience managing leaves of absence and related compliance requirements. Proficiency in HRIS systems and Microsoft Office Suite. Strong interpersonal, communication, and problem-solving skills. Ability to handle confidential information with discretion and professionalism. Ability to work a flexible schedule as needed to support a 24/7 operation.
