As a Team Leader Assistant, you will support a retail office during the busy tax season to surpass client expectations and provide daily operational direction. You will start with a flexible part-time schedule in late fall as you prepare for tax season and transition to a full-time schedule from January through April. It Would Be Even Better If You Also Had... Experience in supervising or managing people A proven track record of delivering outstanding customer experiences What You'll Bring To The Team... Assist the Multi-Unit Team Leader as the onsite point of contact for tax office associates and clients, ensuring exceptional service that highlights the value of H&R Block. Accountable for executing and overseeing the client service experience, escalating issues to the Multi-Unit Team Leader and District General Manager when necessary. Serve as the go-to resource for addressing onsite client service concerns. Ensure proper client scheduling and resolution of conflicts, escalating as necessary. Lead from the front desk, actively engaging with clients to deliver an exceptional experience. Oversee daily activities to confirm that all tax office associates are scheduled effectively, and that work is completed on time and to quality standards. Facilitate daily huddles, communicating vital information to office associates. Your Expertise Prior experience in customer service or a similar role. Strong organizational skills to manage daily office operations. A customer-centric mindset with excellent communication abilities. Proficient in computer use, especially MS Office. Capable of working independently with minimal supervision. Able to commit to a flexible 40-hour work week according to business needs. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. This information is provided to give applicants insight into potential earnings based on factors such as experience, education, skill, performance, and geographic location.
