Job Title: Mental Health Coordinator (LPC, LCSW, LMFT) Location: Las Animas, CO 81054 Duration: 8 Weeks Shift: 5x8-Hour Days Hours per Week: 40 hours Guaranteed Hours: Dependent on facility requirements Job Summary We are seeking a qualified Mental Health Coordinator to provide clinical mental health services in a correctional facility setting. This role involves assessing, planning, and delivering non-medical mental health care. The ideal candidate must be able to perform all responsibilities efficiently and maintain professional standards in a secure environment. Job Responsibilities Conduct mental health screenings and assessments through record reviews and clinical interviews with inmates Develop, implement, and modify individualized treatment plans based on patient needs and level of functioning Provide counseling services and crisis intervention as required Maintain accurate and timely documentation in healthcare records Ensure strict confidentiality of all sensitive information Apply knowledge of psychological counseling theories and techniques in daily practice Deliver appropriate mental health support and interventions to assigned caseload Required Skills & Experience Minimum 5 years of clinical experience At least 2 years in a similar or comparable role Education Requirements Master's degree in Social Work, Psychology, Mental Health Counseling, or a related clinical field from an accredited institution Certifications & Licensure Active LPC, LCSW, or LMFT license in the state of practice Valid driver's license preferred (may be required based on facility) Must be at least 18 years of age Additional Requirements Driver's license and Social Security Card required for facility clearance Drug screening (DS) will be completed by the facility prior to start and scheduled at a nearby location
