We are seeking a highly motivated, innovative, and enthusiastic staff member to serve as Division Manager in our Operations and Organizational Development (OOD) Division. The OOD Division Manager serves as the strategic leader for the department's overall operations. This position is responsible for the Department's strategic plan, accounting and budgeting, policy development, imaging and content management, payroll, fraud and recovery, hearings and appeals, quality assurance, provider engagement and payment, contracting and procurement, and data and business analysis. The position is an integral member of the Executive Leadership Team, reporting to the Deputy Director. This is an appointed position. Appointed employees are "at will" and may be separated from employment at any time with or without cause. The typical work schedule is Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. This position follows a hybrid work arrangement and requires a minimum of one in-office day per week. Adequate internet access and a dedicated workspace are required for remote work. Larimer County provides a one-time remote work stipend to support equipment and office supply needs for remote workspaces. Responsibilities What you'll be doing: Leading teams across diverse program areas, exercising direct leadership over management, professional, technical, and clerical staff as assigned. Managing budgets and allocations, including making required adjustments to revenues or expenses throughout each fiscal year. Overseeing the department's annual budgeting process. Assisting in strategic planning and in the development and implementation of policies and procedures. Acting as the primary liaison between the Human Services Department and County internal service and support departments, including Emergency Management, Information Technology, Fleet, Facilities, and Finance. Maintains programs, outcomes, performance metrics, and financial integrity. Cultivating, fostering, and maintaining collaborative and inclusive working relationships with managers, supervisors, employees, and other stakeholders to gain their cooperation and support in assigned projects/studies. Qualifications All candidates will be screened for the following required minimum qualifications. Any candidate who does not meet all of the qualifications listed as required will be eliminated from the process. Six (6) years of experience in a related human service field or performance of similar duties, including experience in management of programs and personnel required, with at least three (3) years of experience in supervision and administration of human services programs required. Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college or university with major coursework in Social Work, Psychology, Behavioral Sciences, Human Services, Business or Public Administration, or a related field required. Possession of a valid Driver's License by date of hire required.
