About the Role As a Flexible Nurse Practitioner, you will conduct in-depth health assessments lasting up to one hour. These evaluations include reviewing a member's health history, assessing medication adherence, evaluating their social environment, and identifying associated risks. Through our Matrix Comprehensive Health Assessment (CHA), you will discover valuable insights often missed in standard office visits. Your essential responsibilities will include: Conducting comprehensive assessments for adults and seniors, including history taking, diagnosis, treatment, health education, and referrals. Ordering necessary point-of-care and lab-based tests. Collaborating effectively with physicians, case managers, social workers, family members, and other healthcare staff. Providing education and follow-up care alongside Primary Care Physicians (PCP). Delivering healthcare services directly in members' residences or Skilled Nursing Facilities. Why Work at Matrix? Full-time Opportunities: PRN providers may transition to full-time roles with associated bonuses. Qualifications: Master's Degree or equivalent experience with NP licensure. Current NP licensure with prescriptive authority or willingness to obtain it. Board certification from AANP, AACN, or ANCC in relevant specialties. Current BLS, ACLS, or CPR certification. Preferred experience of one year as an NP; however, new graduates are encouraged to apply! Valid driver's license and appropriate automobile insurance as required by your state. Proficient in computer skills and familiar with medical record software. Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
