Human Resources Generalist

Our client, a leader in the energy industry, is looking to hire a Human Resources Generalist. This role will be onsite 4x per week in Lancaster, NY.This job is a 4-month W2 contract role with benefits!As a Human Resources Generalist, you will support various HR teams within the organization, including total rewards, talent management, performance management, employee engagement, wellness, learning, organizational efficiency, and employee relations. What You'll Be DoingManage daily employee relations and HR related questions leveraging internal service model, acting as the first point of contact for all hourly associatesSupport talent management initiatives for hourly associates, including recruitment, hiring, talent assessment, performance management, developing succession plans, and reduction in workforceFacilitate new-hire orientation and learning initiatives across various sites, contributing to skills, resources, and processes developmentProvide advice concerning matters with employee discipline and conflict resolution Required Skills & Experience2+ years of experience in Human Resources supporting manufacturing, distribution, and/or operations, or 5+ years of experience as an HR GeneralistExcellent problem-solving and critical thinking skills to analyze complex situations and provide sound judgmentAbility to deliver difficult messages with tact and diplomacy while maintaining a focus on the best outcome for all parties involvedDesired Skills & ExperienceBachelor's degree in HR or related fieldExperience in a high-volume, fast paced environment, managing large caseloadPrior manufacturing, operations, or distribution industry experience preferred!Motion Recruitment Partners is an Equal Opportunity Employer, including disability/vets.
