Ironworker Foreman

Job Title: Ironworker ForemanJob Description Join a dynamic team where you'll have the opportunity to learn and grow in the field of ironworking. We are looking for someone who is open to training and eager to develop their skills. You must be able to read a tape measure and blueprints, work outdoors in various weather conditions, and get your hands dirty. This role involves working around cranes, rigging up I-beams, and connecting structural steel components. Responsibilities Work around cranes and rig up I-beams. Handle structural steel that supports building frameworks. Connect I-beams to columns. Comfortably work at heights, always tied off and potentially on a scissor lift. Use power tools, torch, hot saw, tape, and basic iron-working tools proficiently. Safely operate boom lifts, scissor lifts, and telescoping forklifts. Lift up to 100 pounds with repeated bending, lifting, twisting, and climbing. Read and interpret blueprints for layout purposes. Essential Skills Experience as a construction general laborer or ironworker. Proficiency in structural steel and iron work. Ability to weld using stick, MIG, and GMAW methods. Certification in 3g and 4g welding techniques, with 1g potentially acceptable. Additional Skills & Qualifications Comfortable working in dirty and dusty environments. Certified welders who are also comfortable with labor tasks are ideal. Why Work Here? Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Madison, KS. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $33.00/hr.
