Security Guard

Job Summary: Join our team as a Security Guard, where you will provide essential security services while building strong relationships with customers, local law enforcement, and fire departments. As a critical member of our team, you will maintain a vigilant awareness of your surroundings, noting all activities in your assigned area. We emphasize professionalism and exceptional customer service in everything we do. Basic Functions: Control entrances and manage pedestrian and vehicle traffic. Conduct regular patrols of buildings and perimeters. Escort personnel and materials as required. Inspect security measures and assess fire hazards. Perform special assignments as directed. Responsibilities: Your duties will be dynamic and may vary based on the size of the department and assigned post. We prioritize reasonable accommodations to meet ADA requirements. As a Security Officer, your primary functions will include: Arriving on time and reporting to your post in complete uniform. Maintaining a professional demeanor while greeting visitors, customers, and employees warmly. Staying updated on all post orders and changes in procedures. Patrolling the property or maintaining a fixed position, reporting suspicious activities and investigating incidents. Monitoring security cameras and equipment continuously as per post orders. Having a working knowledge of emergency procedures to respond effectively to alarms and urgent situations. Completing Daily Activity Reports, Log Book entries, and Incident Reports as required. Providing management with recommendations for improved safety and loss prevention practices. Understanding and ensuring the proper functionality of life safety systems, fire panels, and CCTV equipment. Meeting training and compliance guidelines set by Andy Frain Services and relevant agencies. Communicating any new security issues or procedural changes to the Security Supervisor daily. Skills and Abilities: Integrity, alertness, and discipline in safeguarding property and ensuring safety. Unwavering vigilance and commitment to duty. Strong customer service skills in alignment with Andy Frain Services Mission Statement. Ability to accomplish multiple tasks effectively and efficiently. Capacity to lead progressive change, collaborate with a team, and follow instructions. Demonstrated urgency in completing tasks. Excellent oral and written communication skills.
