Flexible work schedule requires ability to work evenings and rotate a 24/7 on-call schedule. In addition, these dynamic individuals must possess a trauma-informed skillset to work with the target population for cross training.ResponsibilitiesUndergo cross-training to effectively act as parent-child and individual/substance use clinician.Deliver treatment to facilitate positive parent-child interactions and optimal child development.Promote reflective capacity utilizing an infant mental health approach..Co-facilitate weekly parent-child therapy group (Social Club)Attend all required trainings.Submit all required data to supervisor and evaluator.Participate in technical assistance (TA) meetings and calls.Attend weekly parent-child outpatient group; one evening per week.Conduct toxicology screens with clients at every encounter, observing the toxicology screen when client is of the same gender.Facilitate positive parent-child interactions and optimal child development through effective treatment.Conduct developmental screenings for client's child.Address child safety issues including but not limited to safe, adequate sleep.Refer client to medication-assisted treatment (MAT), as appropriate.Co-construct treatment goals related to recovery, education, employment, healthy relationships, family communication, and/or legal issues with each individual client.Provide individual psychotherapy to address comorbid mental health issues.Collaborate with other systems to coordinate care to support the client and child, including with the MAT provider as needed.Work in close collaboration with DCP&P local office from the time of the referral until the client is dischargedFrequently communicate with the assigned DCP&P caseworker via phone/encrypted email about client's progress and any concerns about the client's functioningMeet monthly with IHRP Team, DCP&P caseworker, supervisor, and DCP&P/IHRP liaison at local DCP&P office to review case progressNotify the DCP&P caseworker when a client relapseDemonstrates ability to assess risk category, mental status, level of compliance and motivation, clients' needs and provide applicable interventions, targeting parental recovery and psychological well-being.Utilize the tools of Family Based Recovery (FBR)Perform comprehensive mental health assessment.Formulate service plan.Evening hours are required. xijylhu CompetenciesProficiently communicates - written and verbalDemonstrates empathy and compassionKnowledge of Addictions QualificationsEducation - Master's Degree in Counseling, Social Work, or related fieldExperience - Minimum of 1-2 years' experience working in a substance use related field and children preferred.Licensure - Qualified to provide substance use disorder treatment independently in New Jersey as either a LPC, LCSW, LCADC, LMFT, or licensed psychologistLicense -Valid NJ Driver's License in good standingComprehensive Benefits Package:o Medical, Dental and Prescription Insuranceo 403(b) Retirement Plano Generous Paid Time Off and Paid Holidayso Long Term Disability Insuranceo Life and AD&D Insuranceo Employee Assistance Programo Flexible Spending Account and Health Savings Accounto Voluntary Benefits, such as Vision Insurance, Aflac, Pet Insuranceo Staff Training and Development Opportunitieso Employee Referral Bonus programeoeTo be considered for an interview, please make sure your application is full in line with the job specs as found below.Compensation details: 62500 Yearly SalaryPI384ae442e02a-31181-40110647
