School-Based Occupational Therapist (OT) - Full-Time | $60/hr + Full BenefitsLocation: Lakeville, MNSchedule: Monday-Friday, 37.5 hours/weekCompensation: $60/hr + Full Benefits (Medical, Dental, Vision, 401K)Start Date: ASAPDuration: Through end of the 2025-2026 school year, with option to renew for next school yearEmployment Type: Full-Time, In-PersonAbout the RoleWe are seeking a dedicated Occupational Therapist (OT) to join a collaborative, student-centered school team in Lakeville, MN. This full-time, in-person position offers the opportunity to support students across the district by helping them develop essential motor, sensory, and daily living skills needed to succeed in the school environment.This role is ideal for OTs who are passionate about pediatric or school-based practice and who value teamwork, consistency, and meaningful impact.Key Focus Areas Fine and gross motor skill development (handwriting, cutting, running, jumping) Sensory processing and self-regulation Activities of daily living (dressing, tool use, functional self-care tasks) Supporting academic, social, and leisure participation What You'll Do Assessment & Evaluation Evaluate students' fine motor skills, coordination, sensory needs, postural stability, and activities of daily living. IEP Development Contribute to and implement IEPs, IIIPs, and/or IFSPs; provide input to teams on student needs and accommodations. Direct & Indirect Services Deliver individualized OT services or provide consultation and monitoring for students receiving indirect support. Collaboration & Consultation Work closely with teachers, specialists, and parents to develop appropriate motor activities, environmental adaptations, and assistive strategies. Training & Support Train general and special education staff, paraprofessionals, and families on intervention strategies and equipment. Communication Maintain consistent communication with teachers and families regarding student progress. Documentation & Record-Keeping Maintain timely, accurate records of evaluations, progress, IEP updates, and service logs.
