Associate Attorney

Criminal defense law firm with offices in Tampa and Lakeland seeking an associate attorney. All inquiries and applications are kept confidential.Do you have the right skills and experience for this role Read on to find out, and make your application.Responsibilities:- Represent clients at court hearings.- Conduct legal research and analysis to support ongoing cases.- Prepare and file legal documents, such as pleadings, motions, and briefs.- Provide legal advice and guidance to clients on criminal matters.- Collaborate with colleagues and senior attorneys on complex cases.Experience:- Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.- Admission to the state bar association.- Preferred 5 years of experience practicing law in a criminal setting.- Strong knowledge of legal principles and procedures.- Excellent research, writing, and communication skills.- Ability to work independently and handle multiple cases simultaneously.- Proficient in using legal research tools and technology.Note: This job description is intended to provide a general overview of the position.
