Regional Class A Tanker Driver

Clean Harbors/Safety-Kleen is looking for a Local/Regional Class A Tanker Driver to join their safety conscious team in Dolton, IL  and will primarily service the Mid-West area roughly 500 miles out one way and willing to accept farther runs when the schedule calls for it. Will need to be able to be out for 3-4 days a week on the road. Expected 1,700 - 2,500 miles a week. Driver will cross train on Solvent pumping, Vac work, transport tanker, and Possibly Van Work. Pay- $26-28 per hour & $.55 - .57 CPM About the role: Drivers average $90-$120K per year $7,500 sign-on-bonus available Weekly home time Compensation includes hourly wages (all on-duty non-driving time) and mileage pay   Why work for Clean Harbors?    Health and Safety is our #1 priority and we live it 3-6-5! Comprehensive health benefits coverage after 30 days of full-time employment Group 401K with company matching component Own Part of the Company with our Employee Stock Purchase Plan Paid time off, company paid training, and tuition reimbursement Positive and safe work environments      RESPONSIBILITIES  Ensures that Health and Safety is the number one priority by complying with all safe work practices, policies, and processes and acting in a safe manner at all times Operates tractor trailer tanker units Adheres to weights and ensures proper utilization of the units Ensures proper loading and unloading of hazardous waste/non-hazardous waste; Properly secures the loads Placards vehicle in accordance to Company and Department of Transportation (DOT) requirements/regulations Maintains daily logs, time sheets, expense reports, dispatch and trip reports as well as vehicle inspection reports    QUALIFICATIONS  Class A CDL 12+ months of Class A driving experience 3+ months of tanker experience HAZMAT and Tanker endorsements Ability to climb and work from heights Ability to lift and carry 50lbs+ Ability to effectively use required technology such as mobile applications and computer software   For additional information about driver career opportunities, please call us at 72-Drive (833-723-7483).
