Accounts Payable Specialist We are looking for an experienced Accounts Payable Specialist to join our client's team on a long-term contract basis. This role is based in Lake Elmo, Minnesota, and involves supporting a manufacturing environment through efficient management of accounts payable processes. The ideal candidate will have a strong attention to detail and a commitment to accurate financial operations. Responsibilities: Process accounts payable transactions, including coding invoices and ensuring timely payment to vendors. Perform check runs and manage payment processing activities with high accuracy. Handle data entry tasks related to accounts payable, ensuring all records are up-to-date and error-free. Reconcile accounts payable balances and resolve discrepancies promptly. Collaborate with internal teams to address invoice-related issues and maintain smooth operations. Monitor vendor accounts to ensure payments are made according to agreed terms. Prepare and maintain detailed records of payments for reporting and auditing purposes. Assist in implementing process improvements within the accounts payable function to enhance efficiency. Ensure compliance with company policies and financial regulations in all accounts payable activities. Attention to detail and accuracy in financial data management. Knowledge of check runs and automated clearing house (ACH) payment methods.
