Driver Manager

Responsible for managing and directing an assigned group of company drivers and overseeing contractor relations. This must be done within the established policies and procedures of the company. The key responsibility of a driver manager is to foster proactive communication to help facilitate the needs of the driver and company objectives. This includes, but is not limited to, safety, training, performance metrics, maintenance, and pay. The Driver Manager must be accessible to an assigned group of drivers by phone, e-mail, text, or Mobile Communications system. Driver and contractor management is the primary emphasis, but the position will also assist with managing day-to-day activities within the service center.
