Job Description Summary: We are seeking a motivated and compassionate Entry-Level Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to join our clinical team at a training-focused site dedicated to developing future professionals in Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA). The McNeese Autism Program (MAP) is the site placement for practicum and internship students attached to our on-campus Master of Science in Applied Behavior Analysis program at McNeese State University. This position is ideal for a newly certified BCBA who is interested in providing high-quality clinical services while gaining experience supervising and mentoring graduate-level interns pursuing degrees in ABA. The clinical behavior analyst will provide weekly supervision to practicum and internship students assigned to MAP consistent with the profession of psychology and BACB Guidelines. Supervision should support development in psychology as a professional analyst. The Entry-Level BCBA will provide effective direct ABA-based clinical services to clients and provide ongoing supervision to practicum and internship students assigned on-site. The entry-level BCBA will also support individualized treatment planning and will contribute to a collaborative learning environment that emphasizes ethical practice, evidence-based intervention, and professional growth. Collaboration with the Clinical Director and Executive Director of the McNeese Autism Program (MAP) to enhance the operation of the clinic is also required. IF YOU HAVE QUESTIONS REGARDING THIS POSITION, PLEASE CONTACT THE CHAIR: Brandi Cart, Operations Director at Kim Dronett, HR Analyst/Recruitment, or (337) 475-5413 Position Duties/Responsibilities Key Responsibilities: Clinical Services: * Conduct assessments (e.g., functional behavior assessments, skill assessments) under supervision as needed. * Collect, analyze, and interpret data to guide clinical decision-making. * Develop, implement, and monitor individualized behavior intervention plans. * Maintain an active caseload and provide direct ABA services to clients appropriate to training, qualifications, and reasonable standard of care in accordance with evidence-based practices and ethical guidelines. * Ensure accurate and timely service reporting in support of billing and collection efforts. * Proactively seek opportunities for professional growth and development through personal study, professional practice, attendance at workshops and conferences, and consultation with peers. * Adhere to best practices and standards for client admission, planning, treatment, care, safety, and discharge. Supervision & Training: * Provides supervision to Graduate/Undergraduate-Level Student Employees and ABA interns in accordance with BACB requirements * RLTs/WAE-Contract Employees * Support interns in developing clinical, professional, and ethical competencies. * Model effective ABA strategies and professional behavior. * Participate in training meetings, case reviews, and professional development activities. * Collaborate with senior BCBA to ensure quality supervision and intern success. * Document intern supervision in accordance with the BACB guidelines. Compliance & Ethics: * Maintain continuous professional licensure, board certification, supervisory credential (with the BACB) and related professional credentials. * Adhere to the Ethics Code for Behavior Analysts (2022) and all applicable state and organizational regulations. * Adhere to ethical, legal, and policy requirements of the profession and university. * Comply with state and federal regulations * Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation. * Fulfill contractual obligations to third-party reimbursement sources. Collaboration & Communication: * Assist in identification, selection, training, supervision and evaluation of line technicians, graduate assistants, and interns as assigned by the Clinical Director. * Provide input to clinical staff and faculty in assessing degree curriculum content and competencies of degree-seeking students progressing through graduate program in psychology/applied behavior analysis. * Collaborate with both faculty and the Clinical Director to develop remediation plans for students not meeting acceptable progress benchmarks as outlined in the Student Handbook. * Collaborate with others by serving on committees, task forces, research teams and related work groups appropriate to role within department, college, university, community, and profession. * Work to establish MAPs reputation as a premier university-based training site for students in ABA. * Provide leadership in managing special projects and tasks within department as needed or requested. Required/Preferred Qualifications Required: * Master's degree in Applied Behavior Analysis or Psychology with a concentration in Applied Behavior Analysis. * Licensed by and in good standing with the Louisiana Behavior Analyst Board (LBAB). * Current BCBA certification in good standing with the Behavior Analyst Certification Board (BACB). * Strong interest in supervision, mentorship, and training future ABA professionals. * Excellent communication and organizational skills. Preferred: * A minimum of 2 years of experience working in a clinic, school or training-based environment delivering/supervising behavior analytic therapy to clients. * Supervisor Certification from the BACB. * Degree from an ABAI Accredited Program. * Desire to grow into a senior clinical or supervisor role.
