Precast Civil Designer

Our client is seeking a Precast Civil Designer to lead the design and execution of structural concrete systems for complex construction projects. This role combines advanced engineering design with production and field coordination, requiring someone who understands both theory and real-world application. Relocation assistance provided.ResponsibilitiesDesign and analyze prestressed and precast concrete elements including beams, columns, wall panels, and foundation systemsPrepare and review engineering calculations, shop drawings, and erection documents for accuracy and constructabilityCoordinate with detailing, production, and field teams to ensure alignment between design intent and fabrication/installationSupport RFIs, submittals, and design revisions throughout the project lifecycleProvide technical support during production and erection, including troubleshooting and value engineering effortsRequirements5+ years of experience in precast/prestressed concrete designStrong understanding of PCI standards, structural analysis, and connection designExperience supporting production processes and field erection coordination
