Job Description:
Overview: This role leads and manages supply chain operations focused on Med/Surg and Surgical Services inventories, including shipping, receiving, and distribution across the healthcare network. As a key member of the supply chain leadership team, you will develop processes and implement strategic goals to optimize department performance. Mentoring and training of supply chain associates is a vital part of this position. Key Responsibilities: Oversee logistics and distribution planning to ensure timely availability of supplies supporting all departments. Drive execution of supply chain initiatives and collaborate with team members to meet goals. Partner with leadership on budgeting and manage expense reconciliation for operations. Supervise operations associates, including training, scheduling, assignments, discipline, and performance evaluations. Enforce best practices in receiving, including use of automated tools, shipment inspection, and proper documentation for chain of custody. Maintain accuracy and discipline in perpetual inventory transactions, guiding associates to deliver excellent service to internal customers. Develop and maintain a PAR (Periodic Automatic Replenishment) program, ensuring effective communication and management of PAR locations. Serve as subject matter expert for the Workday Inventory module and related perpetual inventory information. Act as primary supply chain contact for internal customers, ensuring clear and reliable communication with clinical and non-clinical leadership. Collaborate with supply chain leaders to ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements. Education: Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field is required. Experience: Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in supply chain operations is essential. Certifications: Preferred certifications include CMRP (Certified Materials & Resource Professional) and SPSM (Supplier Performance and Supply Management).
