Candidates should have experience working with diverse patient age groups including neonates, infants, pediatrics, adolescents, adults, and geriatrics. A comprehensive skill set including the use of medication systems is essential. The ideal candidate must be adept in high-alert medication management and emergency medication systems. Additional responsibilities include IV push medications, compounding, and management of antineoplastic agents. A dedication to medication packaging and sterile technique is necessary.
