Assist in establishing and maintaining an environment for children which is clean, safe, and appropriate for each child's developmental levelHelp manage classroom through positive feedback, encouragement, and re-directionPlan and implement hands-on activities that develop self-esteemView parent - teacher relationship as a partnership, focusing on each child's individual strengths and abilitiesQUALIFICATIONS, KNOWLEDGE & SKILLSHigh school diplomaAt least 18 years of age and be able to model the Lead TeacherOpen to enrolling in course work in child development, child family, community, curriculum, and infant care if not already completed.A warm and friendly personality, be sensitive to the feelings and needs of others and must be able to relate well with childrenWilling to fulfill the responsibilities in accordance with the Church's educational philosophyDemonstrate the fruit of the Spirit as evidence of a growing Christ-centered life (Galatians 5:16-25, Ephesians 5:18-21)Be teachable and faithful in learning from and following those in authority over him/her and fully supporting the vision of Crossline Church.Fulfill the duties required of Crossline Church members as outlined in the membership covenant.Philosophical alignment with church leadershipCommitted to continued developmentClear Live Scan and Criminal Background24 units of Early Childhood Education/Child Development minimum, AA or BA preferredCurrent CPR/First Aid CertificationRecord of immunizations: current TB test clearance, MMR, DTaP, annual influenzaHours may vary as needed; center open from 7am-6pmAdditionally, all Church Staff Members:Love Jesus and call themselves Christians.Embrace a high biblical standard of personal conduct and lifestyle.Agree to and adhere to the church's statement of faith and leadership commitment.
