Job Description:
The HR Generalist plays a pivotal role in managing and enhancing human resources functions. This position is responsible for overseeing various HR activities, including recruitment, employee relations, compliance, training, and performance management. The HR Generalist ensures that HR policies and procedures are effectively implemented and adhered to, fostering a positive and productive workplace culture. This position requires the ability to work onsite between locations in Newnan, Georgia and LaGrange, Georgia.Responsibilities:Ensures compliance with company HR guidelines, corporate guidelines, as well as local, state, and federal laws.Create and implement key compliance programs through process mapping and standardized work.Proactively build relationships with all employees by conducting daily walkthroughs of operational areas to ensure open two-way communication with departments.Responsible for recruiting, interviewing, hiring, and onboarding for non-exempt positions at the site.Assist in administering FMLA, LOA, and drug program processes.Drive and execute the site's Affirmative Action Plan (AAP), including training and education of hiring managers, outreach programs, AAP recordkeeping and tracking, compensation analysis, etc.Responsible for recordkeeping related to new hires, employee reviews, promotions, transfers, separations, etc.Administers, monitors, and provides counsel on mid-year and annual performance review programs in a timely and consistent manner to ensure compliance, effectiveness, and standardization within the organization.Qualifications:Bachelor's Degree in Business Management, Human Resources, or equivalent.3+ years of experience in a Human Resources Generalist role (manufacturing experience preferred).HR Certification such as PHR, SPHR, or similar (preferred, not required).Experience managing leaves of absence and knowledge of current labor laws.Experience with HRIS systems is a plus (Dayforce preferred).Strong organizational and multitasking skills.Excellent verbal and written communication skills.Quick learner with the ability to adapt to change.High level of professionalism and strong customer service focus.Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment.Employnet follows an equal opportunity employment policy in all aspects of employment and employs personnel without regard to race, creed, color, religion, national origin, gender, sexual orientation, age, physical or mental disability, veteran status, marital status, or any other consideration made unlawful by federal, state or local law, ordinance or regulation.
