Company Description:Mountville Rubber Company is a custom rubber mixing business that provides internal and external customers with 45 million pounds of un-cured rubber across several industries from two manufacturing facilities in Lagrange, GA. Annual sales in 2023 totaled $60,000,000.Key Responsibilities:Conduct inspections and/or tests on raw materials, in-process materials, and finished products to ensure adherence to specifications and quality standards.Use various testing equipment and methods, including tensile strength, MDR, durometer, and other tests specific to rubber products.Collaborate with production teams to address quality issues, troubleshoot defects, and implement corrective actions.Monitor production processes and ensure compliance with company, policies, regulatory requirements, and safety standards.Qualifications:High School Diploma or equivalent3-5 years manufacturing experience in a manufacturing or quality role required; 2+yrs experience in quality control, preferable in manufacturing environment preferred.Proficiency in Microsoft Office and ability to read and interpret technical specifications and test standards.Excellent communication skills and attention to detail.Working Conditions:In addition to computer work, this position requires working in a manufacturing environment where personal protective equipment is necessary. The ability to stand for long periods and climb stairs is required. The successful applicant must be comfortable working in a manufacturing environment, which may include getting dirty and exposure to noise and heat/cold.Shift: 3rd(11pm-7am)Compensation: Based upon qualifications, experience, and education.
