We value our professionals, providing comprehensive benefits and the opportunity for growth.Your future duties and responsibilities Client Advisory & ConsultingAct as a trusted advisor to clients on cloud strategy, architecture, and modernizationLead client workshops to assess current-state architecture and define future-state GCP solutionsTranslate business objectives into cloud-native and hybrid GCP architecturesProvide architectural governance and ensure adherence to CGI and client standardsSolution Architecture & DeliveryDesign end-to-end GCP architectures covering compute, data, networking, security, and DevOpsDefine cloud migration and modernization approaches (re-host, re-platform, re-architect)Architect solutions using GKE, Cloud Run, BigQuery, Cloud SQL, VPC, IAM, and related servicesEnsure solutions meet non-functional requirements (security, performance, resilience, cost)Review designs, code, and infrastructure for quality and best practicesPresales & Thought LeadershipSupport presales activities including solutioning, effort estimation, and proposal responsesContribute to RFPs/RFIs, architecture decks, and client presentationsProvide technical leadership during bid pursuits and client demosContribute to CGI cloud accelerators, reference architectures, and best practicesGovernance, Security & OptimizationDefine IAM models, security controls, logging, monitoring, and compliance frameworksImplement Infrastructure as Code (Terraform) and CI/CD pipelinesDrive cost optimization (FinOps) and operational excellenceSupport audits, security reviews, and production readinessRequired qualifications to be successful in this roleAt least 8+ years of IT experience with 3+ years of experience in Google Cloud Platform architecture/consulting consultant In-depth knowledge of: GCP Compute: Compute Engine, GKE, Cloud RunData & Analytics: Big Query, Cloud Storage, Cloud SQLNetworking & Security: VPC, IAM, Load Balancing, KMSStrong experience with Kubernetes, containers, and microservicesInfrastructure as Code using TerraformEqual Employment Opportunity (EEO) StatementVLink is an equal opportunity employer committed to fostering an inclusive environment where diversity is celebrated.
