With our 60+ experienced Healthcare Professionals, innovative technology, and wide range of services and treatment options we help each patient live his or her best life.Responsibilities Oversees surgeon's office practice, schedules surgeries, and handles patient phone calls Works closely with outside surgical facilities on orders, pretesting, and H&P's Assists surgeon with scheduled and call cases Washing & wrapping instruments Assist surgeon with FMLA/STD paperwork Flexibility to float with other surgeons or fill in as needed Comply with clerical needs in the office Manages the insurance authorization process with patient's insurance Shares responsibility for stocking office exam rooms / procedure rooms Follow guidelines of HIPAA in maintaining patient confidentiality Requirements & Skills Certification(s): Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) required; BLS required Excellent communication skills required High attention to detail and excellent organizational skills Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment and handle fluid changes Experience in an ambulatory setting preferred Team work and leadership is essential Employment Details Full-Time Office Hours: Monday-Friday, 8:00am - 5:00pm This position requires flexibility as it will vary depending on scheduling requirements Taking call is mandatory for the position Benefits Eligible Practice Website: Unity Healthcare, LLC is an Equal Opportunity Employer
