Patient Care Coodinator

Large managed care company is looking for a Patient Care Coordinator with excellent communication skills to work a short-term, contract position. WORK LOCATION: 22407 Holzwarth Rd, Spring, TX  77389 PAY: $19.00 CONTRACT DATES: ASAP - 4/30/26 HOURS: M-F, 6am-2pm RESPONSIBILITIES Processes check-in via Epic Collects appropriate fees, co-pays, deductibles and co-insurance amounts Provides assistance to patients so that the patient can be processed quickly and efficiently Answers questions and provides assistance to patients either directly or by referring them to the appropriate person/department Assists with filling out forms QUALIFICATIONS Highschool/GED or equivalent Minimum 6 months of experience in a customer-facing role within a medical office or healthcare setting. Experience in patient check-in/check-out processes, including collecting co-pays, deductibles, and co-insurance amounts. Strong understanding of insurance benefits and patient financial responsibility, including the ability to explain professional vs. facility components of charges. Experience with Microsoft Office, computer proficiency, both verbal and written communication skills, data entry accurately inputting information into EMR
