Job Description:
Key Responsibilities: The Corporate Controller is responsible for managing the accounting department and overseeing all financial reporting functions. This role provides financial insights and analysis to support executive leadership, shareholders, and stakeholders in making informed economic decisions about the company's future. Oversee all accounting department activities to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting, including: Monthly internal and external financial statements Annual audits Annual budgeting processes Supervise the Accounts Payable function to ensure accurate and timely invoice processing and payments. Oversee Accounts Receivable operations, including billing, cash applications, and aging management. Establish and maintain financial systems and internal controls to ensure data integrity, compliance, and operational efficiency. Participate in special projects and prepare detailed financial analyses and reports as required. Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements. Maintain professional communication with management, internal teams, and external stakeholders. Work Environment: This position operates primarily in an office setting but may require walking through warehouse areas to oversee departmental operations. Standard office equipment is used regularly. Required Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Accounting Minimum of 15 years of progressive accounting experience Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting, and regulatory standards Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and ERP systems Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities Proficiency in financial data analysis and report generation Preferred Qualifications: CPA or CMA certification Lean Manufacturing experience Six Sigma training
