You know how to close the books, manage grants, prepare for audit, and keep leadership grounded in reality. We're looking for a Controller who wants to pair financial discipline with meaningful impact. This is a hybrid leadership role reporting directly to the CEO. You will be the financial backbone of the organization and a strategic partner at the executive table. What You'll Do You will oversee all financial operations, including: Annual budgeting and financial planning with department leaders Full-cycle accounting: A/P, A/R, payroll, journal entries, reconciliations, and internal controls Grant budgeting, compliance, and reporting Monthly, quarterly, and annual reporting to leadership and the Board Audit coordination, IRS 990 preparation, and 1099 reporting Cash flow management and banking relationships Leading and mentoring finance staff You'll bring structure, clarity, and insight that supports both compliance and strategy. What You Bring Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA or Master's preferred) 3-5+ years of progressive financial leadership experience, ideally in nonprofit finance Strong experience with grant budgets and compliance Proficiency in QuickBooks and advanced Excel skills High integrity and comfort handling sensitive information Compensation & BenefitsSalary: $85,000-$90,000 Work Structure: Hybrid schedule Medical Coverage Two comprehensive medical plan options through Anthem In-network preventive care covered at 100% Employer contribution toward medical premiums Prescription drug coverage included Telemedicine and virtual care access Additional offerings include dental, vision, life insurance, income protection, and supplemental benefits.
