Lafayette, CO. 80026 Job Description Wilding Brands is seeking a highly motivated, hardworking individual to fill the position of General Manager at one of our locations, Ghost Box Pizza. The position is full-time, and will be offered a competitive compensation package including benefits and paid time off. As the General Manager, you will plan and direct all restaurant operations while creating a unique and fun dining experience for our guests. Key Areas of Responsibility Service – “Make It Right” Be a visible leader on the floor; engage guests and staff, set the tone, and manage the flow of service. Lead all guest relations and resolve issues with confidence, care, and sound judgment. Ensure consistent execution of food, beverage, and safety standards. Complete opening/closing checklists and oversee daily operational readiness. Monitor and respond to guest feedback and online reviews; coach leaders on service recovery. People – Mentor & Culture Builder Hire, train, coach, and develop managers and hourly staff; lead with emotional intelligence. Uphold and reinforce company standards, policies, and performance expectations. Oversee scheduling, staffing levels, and labor alignment to business needs. Lead communication through pre-shifts and manager meetings; ensure teams are informed and aligned. Own training systems, performance reviews, and ongoing development. Financial & COGS Drive sales, control costs, and manage to budget. Forecast, plan, and analyze performance using P&Ls, variance reports, and inventory. Partner with bar and kitchen leadership on pricing, purchasing, and margin improvement and communication with your Area Director. Administrative Ensure accurate and timely payroll, scheduling, compliance, and certification tracking. Maintain POS, menus, vendor relations, inventory controls, and operational documentation. Marketing & Events Partner with leadership and marketing on promotions, events, menu launches, and brand initiatives. Execute rollouts, staff training, and in-house communication for all campaigns. Facilities & Compliance Maintain a safe, clean, fully functioning restaurant through preventative maintenance and inspections. Ensure compliance with all health, safety, and labor regulations; act as Person in Charge (ServSafe Manager). Lead operational audits and follow-through on all action items. Requirements: A minimum of 4 years restaurant/bar experience in the role of Assistant Manager or General Manager Proficient at the creation, manipulation, and formatting of Excel/Google Sheets spreadsheets Proficiency in the use of G-Suite Applications, (Docs, Sheets, Slides, Forms) Excellent communication, public speaking, and presentation skills Ability to lift 55 pounds to shoulder, and 160 pounds to hip level Flexible work time ability including nights, weekends and holidays You must be at least 21 years of age Spanish speaking is a plus Education/Certification: A minimum of a 2-year college degree (or equivalent experience) is required, 4-year college degree (or equivalent experience) is preferred Preference given to candidates with Cider Certification, Cicerone or Sommelier Benefits: Health Insurance for all full time employees. This position is full time, in-house at Ghost Box, a restaurant of Wilding Brands in Lafayette, CO, with salary starting at $65,000, depending on experience.
